Microneedling

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a remarkable treatment that stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, thereby renewing skin naturally from within. It can be performed on all colors and types of skin. For optimal results, a series of 3-6 treatments is recommended.

What are the results?

Microneedling causes skin to tighten, thereby shrinking pores and diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. Acne scars are lessened, circulation is stimulated, and the overall health of the skin improves.

How is the treatment done?

A special pen with tiny needles creates micro perforations in the skin. These cause the skin to shift its repair mechanism into high gear, producing collagen and elastin to mend the tiny perforations. In addition, a serum with natural growth factors is infused into the skin. You will leave with some redness resembling a sunburn that will dissipate within 24-48 hours.

What is the satisfaction rate?

Patients are thrilled to see an increase in skin firmness and elasticity, with fewer wrinkles and reduced pore size. Scarring will lessen, pigmentation will decrease, and skin will continue to improve over the next 3-6 months.
